Custom orders typically take 6–8 weeks from the time your order is placed. Because each piece is handmade, timing can vary depending on the number of bags in your order and the availability of materials. We’ll always keep you in the loop if timelines shift.

Sometimes, yes. Larger orders or specialty materials can add quite a bit of time. If that happens, we’ll communicate clearly so you know what to expect before anything moves forward.

Yes! Local orders are hand delivered whenever possible. It’s one of our favorite parts of being a small business.

We typically hand deliver local orders, but shipping is always an option and is charged separately. For non-local orders, shipping is required, and we’ll help choose the best way to get your bag safely to you.

Yes. Each custom piece is made specifically for you. Even when similar materials or silhouettes are used, no two bags are exactly alike.

Absolutely! Custom orders are all about capturing a feeling, aesthetic, or story.

You’re welcome to share inspiration like:

• Mood boards
• Textures or materials you love
• Words or themes (classic, bold, romantic, sporty, cozy, etc.)

We’ll work together to translate that inspiration into a design that’s uniquely yours.

Custom orders may include a curated selection of faux leather, cork, canvas, denim, specialty textiles, and seasonal prints. Hardware finishes and strap options are also available.

Because materials rotate and limited prints come and go, the best way to see what’s currently in stock is to reach out. I’m always happy to share photos and help you choose something that fits your vision.

Aff & Bloom bags are handmade using either our own original sewing patterns or licensed patterns from talented designers, combined with carefully chosen materials and finishing details.

While we’re happy to take inspiration from styles you love, we don’t replicate branded or trademarked designs. Each piece is crafted to feel personal, well-made, and we want to respect other designers.

Not at this time. While we love a good character moment as much as anyone, we prefer to keep Aff & Bloom focused on timeless style and handcrafted details. Plus, the big guys have big lawyers… and we’re just over here sewing bags.

Any past custom commissions using licensed fabrics were one-of-a-kind and are not repeated or recreated.
